The Straight StairGlide, when folded, is one of the narrowest available in the world, folding to less than 28cms or 11 inches and is designed to maximise the space for other members of the family.

 

The Curved StairGlide rail varies according to which side of the stairs you need the rail, the inclination of the stairs and type of any intermediate landings (fan stairs or horizontal quarter or half landing).  The rail is a smooth tube – only 8cms (3 inches) in diameter.  It is not the ugly 2 tube system or the big steel girder system that takes up so much space on the stairs.

 

The downstairs parking can usually be "in line" with the stairs because of the special swan neck, vertical bend (unlike other systems that have to turn 180 degrees and park in the hall).
